Helena Cassadine Ruthless widow of Mikkos; mother of Stavros and Stefan; grandmother of Nikolas; and bully to step-daughter Alexis. Worked with Cesar Faison to destroy the Spensers before blowing Cesar up. Tried gaining control of Nikolas, who's heir to the family empire, and never approved of his romance with Gia..
Nikolas Cassadine Naive son of Laura Spenser and Stavros, poor Nikolas is often caught between family wars. He once dated Sarah Webber; is half-brother to Lucky and LuLu; and most of the time barely tolerates his obnoxious stepfather, Luke. Although Nikolas unfortunately got involved with his dad's angry ex-girlfriend, Katherine, he was also kind of attracted to his brother's girlfriend, Liz. Got involved with former roommate Gia, then married Emily. Now involved with Courtney.
