- Friday, June 1, 2001-
Ilene Pringle eavesdropped on Alex, Anna, and Robin at
Wildwind. As Ilene walked off to exit, Alex realized her presence and ran to the foyer. Alex grabbed Ilene
demanding to know who she was. Anna and Robin ducked out of the living room to hide in the tack room. Gillian arrived
and explained that Ilene was meeting her there to discuss the taping of the bio special. Alex forbid Gillian to tape the
special at Wildwind, reiterating that her decision was firm. Gillian showed Ilene out, asking her if they could tape
elsewhere. Ilene continued to persuade her that the investors really wanted Wildwind as the backdrop. Gillian said she
would figure something out. Ilene then placed a call to her contact exclaiming that Anna Devane was indeed alive and
she had a plan on how to take her out! Meanwhile in the tack room, Robin and Anna continued to catch up. Robin
begged Anna to come back to Paris with here, believing she
would be safe there. Anna replied that it was still much too dangerous, promising she would make it up to her daughter.
An emotional Robin asked Anna why she even had her if she was always going to desert her. Robin then revealed to Anna
that she was HIV positive.
- Monday, June 4, 2001-
At Wildwind, a shocked Anna embraced Robin when she
revealed that she was HIV positive. Anna again apologized to Robin for not being there all those years. A tearful Anna
continued to hug Robin, realizing that she had missed out on her daughter growing into a woman. But Robin was just
glad that they have each other now. Anna and Robin promised to never leave one another again. Robin recounted
falling in love with Stone and Anna asked her if she was with Stone when he died from AIDS. An emotional Robin wept as
she told Anna about being by Stone's bedside when he passed away. Robin then explained how Anna and Robert's
spirit came to her after Stone's death. Later, Edmund interrupted and disclosed that a cell phone call was placed
to Europe from Wildwind. The call was being investigated. Edmund apologized to Robin for not being able to tell her
about Anna and noted that Robin was an amazing woman just like her mother. Robin immediately noticed the
chemistry between Anna and Edmund. After Edmund left, Robin asked Anna if she was in love with him. Anna assured
Robin that Edmund was just a friend. Fearing for Robin's safety, Anna ordered Robin to go back to Paris. But Anna
promised that she would be there in a few weeks to spend the rest of their lives together. Robin and Anna shared a
heartfelt farewell. After Robin left, Anna privately broke down in tears.
- Friday, June 8, 2001-
At Wildwind, Gabriel charmed Maddie and Sammy with a card trick. Dimitri interrupted and pulled Gabriel away from
the kids. Gabriel warned Dimitri not to touch him. Anna entered and broke up the ensuing argument. Anna defended
Gabriel but Dimitri remained convinced he may still be dangerous. Gabriel picked up Maddie's toy and was visibly
affected by it. Anna noticed the toy was triggering memories of his mother. She asked Gabriel to tell her what happened
to Cici. Gabriel broke into tears, exclaiming that "they" were killed. Anna asked who he was referring to and Gabriel
revealed that his mother and Anna's parents were killed in the explosion. A tearful Gabriel said that he tried to save
them but the red haired woman wouldn't let him. Alex interrupted, exclaiming that Charlotte killed them! Anna and
Alex bombarded Gabriel with questions about Charlotte but a shaken Gabriel ran off. Later, Anna told Edmund that she
was going to confront Charlotte. Edmund begged her not to go, saying he couldn't bear to lose her. He then pulled Anna
into a passionate kiss.
- Monday, June 11, 2001-
Edmund pulled away from his kiss with Anna and assured her that he was kissing her and not a memory of Alex. He told her that
he didn't want her confronting Charlotte because he was afraid that she would be killed. Though touched
by his concern and his kiss, Anna told him that she was going to see Charlotte no matter what. Edmund
decided that if she was going, than so was he. Before they left, Anna gave Gabriel a family necklace and
promised him that things were going to get better soon.
- Tuesday, June 12, 2001-
Dimitri, Alex, and Ryan finally came clean to Gillian. A shocked Gillian learned that Alex's sister Anna was still alive
but marked for death. Meanwhile, Bianca led Gabriel to the tackroom where she discovered the wounded
guard dog. Gabriel realized that the dog was shot with a tranquilizer gun. The two rushed back up to
Wildwind to alert the others while Ilene, disguised in a security uniform, put a silencer on her gun. Upon
learning about the dog, Dimitri immediately called security and arranged for Bianca to be taken home.
Gillian told Ryan about Ilene questioning her about Anna and Alex. A suspicious Ryan suspected
something was off he and Gillian shared the information with Dimitri. Later in the tack room, Alex
apologized to Gabriel for Dimitri's behavior towards him. Then, as the two of them shared a tender
bonding moment, an unseen Ilene pointed her gun at Alex.
- Wednesday, June 13, 2001-
An unseen Ilene pointed her gun to get a clear shot at Alex. Upon hearing Gabriel say Alex,
Ilene realized it was the wrong Devane and she retreated into hiding. After hearing a noise, a
suspicious Gabriel ran off to check the grounds. Dimitri arrived and Alex asked him to alert security.
Meanwhile, Ilene placed a call to her contact to get permission to get Gabriel out of the way! Later,
Gabriel returned to the tackroom to find Ilene pointing a gun a him. Ilene fired her gun as Gabriel
told her that he recognized her. She then dragged Gabriel's unconscious body out of the tack
room.
- Friday, June 15, 2001-
A drugged Gabriel awoke in the turrett, realizing he was being held captive by Ilene. Ilene
grilled him about Anna's whereabouts but Gabriel refused to answer. A frustrated Ilene told Gabriel if he
didn't tell her then she would kill both his sisters. Ilene planned to lure Anna to the turrett with a forged note
from Gabriel, intending to eliminate both of them. After Ilene left to plant the note downstairs in
Wildwind, Gabriel managed to break loose. Meanwhile at the Yacht, Ryan and Gillian prepared
for their honeymoon. Ryan, Gillian, Dimitri, and Alex then celebrated with a toast. After Dimitri and Alex
left, Gillian and Ryan reaffirmed their love, citing that they could never live without one another. Gillian phoned Stella at Wildwind and told her she was
coming over to pick something up from her grandmother's trunk. She rushed off without telling
Ryan. Alex returned and discovered the note for Anna. Later, Ryan received a call from Adrian
revealing that Ilene was one of Charlotte's assassins! At that same moment in the turrett, Ilene pointed her
gun at the back of a dark haired woman's head.
- Monday, June 18, 2001-
Ilene waited in the turret for the right opportunity to shoot Anna. She saw a woman whom
she believed was Anna at the window. Aiming her gun, she shot the woman. After learning that Ilene
was a paid assassin, Ryan rushed to Wildwind to warn everyone. At the same time, Gabriel was hauled in by
the guards. Alex forced Dimitri and the guards to let her brother go so that she could hear his side of the
story. When Gabriel fainted, Alex examined him and suspected he had been drugged. Upon awakening,
Gabriel told them about Ilene taking him captive and threatening to kill Anna. Ryan burst in with a gun
pointing at Ilene's head. He told them that he had found her in the turret. As the guards dragged her
away, one of the maids came in and asked where Gillian was. She told them that Gillian had been
headed for the turret. Ryan ran to find her and saw that she was sleeping on the bed. When she didn't
wake up right away, he moved to raise her head off the pillow. His hand came away covered in blood and
he realized that she had been shot.
- Tuesday, June 19, 2001-
Ryan cradled a bleeding Gillian in the turrett as Alex and Dimitri frantically entered. Upon examining Gillian, Alex
screamed for the police to get an ambulance immediately. When Joe received word via telephone he called Jake and
told him to get over to the emergency room right away. Ryan begged Gillian to hold on as she was wheeled into the
hospital on the gurney. An emotional Ryan refused to leave Gillian's side as Joe and the team of doctor's tended to her.
Outside the emergency room, Alex blamed herself for bringing evil into Gillian and Ryan's life. Gabriel arrived and
explained that Ilene threatened to kill both Anna and Alex. A guilt-ridden Alex realized that she was headed up to the
turrett when she received the note. Alex believed if she would have arrived at the turrett first she could of prevented
Gillian from being shot. As Dimitri embraced Alex he locked eyes with Gabriel, inferring that her brother brought the evil
here. Alex defended Gabriel as Dimitri verbally attacked him. An infuriated Gabriel struck Dimitri in the face. Meanwhile in
the chapel, a grief-stricken Ryan made an impassioned plea for Gillian's life to be spared. Later, Dr.
Thompson entered and told Dimitri, Alex, and Jake that Gillian's brain damage
was too severe- there was no brain cell activity. Dimitri asked if she still had a chance and Alex sobbed that Gillian
was gone. Jake then headed to the chapel to gently break the news to Ryan.
- Wednesday,
June 20, 2001- Anna phoned Alex at the ICU and
asked about Gillian's condition. Alex revealed that Gillian
was brain dead and wasn't going to make it. A distraught
Anna expressed her frustration to Edmund while he vowed
revenge on Charlotte. Meanwhile, an apologetic Jake
explained to Ryan that Gillian as he knew her was gone. A
grief-stricken Ryan lashed out at Jake, refusing to believe
his princess was gone. An unseen Erica eavesdropped as Joe
revealed to Alex and Dimitri that Gillian had signed a donor
card but he explained that any medical decision concering
Gillian had to be consented to by Ryan. Ryan overheard and
screamed for Joe to save Gillian. Joe tried to explain that
there was nothing else anyone could do for Gillian. Ryan
held Gillian's hand, begging her to come back to him. He
then exclaimed to Joe, Alex, and Dimitri that he knows
Gillian was still alive.
- Thursday, June 21, 2001-
In the chapel, Brooke reeled from Erica's claim about the heart donor. As Brooke took off she ran into Ryan.
Unaware that Gillian was the donor, Brooke shared her uplifting news but a grief-stricken Ryan dashed off.
Erica revealed to a dumbfounded Brooke that Gillian was the donor. Brooke rushed off after Ryan. Then,
Erica comforted an upset Bianca who confided her fear of loosing another person she loved. Meanwhile
at the ICU, Brooke sympathized with Ryan's loss. Still in denial, Ryan refused to let anyone have Gillian's
heart. Leo arrived and Brooke updated him about Gillian. Jake explained to Brooke and Leo that Ryan
will not accept that Gillian's gone. Ryan shoved Jake out of Gillian's room and barricaded himself in. After,
he looked up and saw a beseeching Leo staring through the window.
- Monday, June 25, 2001-
Jake burst in to Gillian's room explaining that time was running out for Laura and they needed to take Gillian to
surgery immediately. Alex and Dimitri managed to convince a grief-stricken Ryan to let them take her. A
crushed Ryan dropped to his knees as they wheeled Gillian away. Brooke and Leo rejoiced
as a distraught Ryan looked on from Gillian's empty room. Leo then embraced him while Ryan cried on
his shoulder. Later, Ryan stared at Laura through the ICU window. Gabriel stared adoringly at Rosa from
afar. Marcus continued to tease Gabriel and told him that he should get lost. Sweeney offered to help
Marcus "take care" of the Gabriel situation. Later, Rosa found a beaten Gabriel
in the bushes.
- Tuesday, June 26, 2001-
Dimitri, Alex, Liza, Marian, Myrtle, Dixie, and Opal tried to comfort Ryan at the yacht. Each of
them offered their condolences and reminded him of how much Gillian loved him. Ryan asked to be alone
and all but Liza left. A tearful Ryan confided to Liza that they were preparing for their honeymoon and he
expressed his regret over not saying goodbye to Gillian. After Liza left, Ryan went to the stateroom.
He picked up Gillian's negligee and held it close to him as he drifted off to sleep. Ryan suddenly awoke
after hearing Gillian's voice call to him. He rushed out to the salon but realized it was nothing. Later, Ryan
went back to bed and once again Gillian called his name... Rosa found a bloodied Gabriel in
the bushes by the boathouse. She tried to help a disoriented Gabriel but he freaked and pushed her.
Believing his sister was being attacked, Mateo grabbed Gabriel. But Gabriel took a swing at Mateo
before he could subdue him. Rosa screamed for Mateo to stop, exclaiming that she was just trying to
help a beaten Gabriel. Mateo questioned Gabriel but he wouldn't speak. Sweeney and Marcus rushed over
and Mateo asked them who Gabriel was. Sweeney revealed that his father was a cop and said that
Gabriel was a suspect in a shooting. Gabriel managed to get free from Mateo and he bolted off.
Gabriel watched Rosa from outside the window, unbeknownst to her.
- Wednesday, June 27, 2001-
Ryan awakened from his sleep after hearing Gillian calling his name. He was distracted by the smell of gardenias and ran out to the
salon in hopes of seeing Gillian. Instead he found Gabriel standing there with a gardenia in his hand.
Gabriel, who knew they were Gillian's favorite flower from when he was hiding out on the yacht, offered his
apologies and gave Ryan the flower. A furious Dimitri interrrupted and told Ryan not to trust Gabriel.
Gabriel rushed off as Ryan stared at the gardenia. Dimitri handed Ryan all of Gillian's personal effects
and attempted to discuss Gillian's funeral arrangements. Ryan refused to make any plans as he
clutched Gillian's cameo. He told Dimitri that Gillian was still with him. Later, Ryan discovered the cameo
was missing and an unseen force led him to the stateroom where he found the cameo on Gillian's
pillow. A strong breeze blew through the room as Ryan wondered how the cameo got there. Anna and
Edmund begged Gabriel to stay at Wildwind. Edmund told Gabriel that they know what happened
at Bryn Wydd and offered to help him. Anna tried to get Gabriel to open up to her but he refused. Dimitri's
return forced Gabriel to leave the room. Later, Gabriel eavesdropped as Anna and Edmund told
Dimitri about the abuse Charlotte inflicted upon him. Dimitri offered to get Gabriel professional help. Upon
hearing he would need to be in a hospital, Gabriel bolted off.

Thursday, June 28, 2001-
Ryan questioned Steven about the reappearance of the cameo on Gillian's pillow but he
assured Ryan that nobody else was on the yacht. Ryan was overcome with the chills and a fever so
Steven went to get him some blankets. Ryan fell asleep and dreamed of Gillian saving his life in the
fishing shack. Jake arrived and Steven told him about Ryan's condition. However, Jake was surprised to find
a healthy Ryan walk out from the bathroom. Ryan told Jake that Gillian healed him. When Dimitri arrived,
Jake asked Ryan if he could speak at Gillian's memorial service. Ryan exploded on both them,
saying that he's not going to her memorial service because Gillian was still
here.

Friday, June 29, 2001-
Ryan walked into a sleeping Laura's room and put his head
to her chest. Laura woke up and was happy to see Ryan. She told him how grateful she was to have a healthy heart.
Laura was puzzled when Ryan said he could hear Gillian's voice. Gillian was telling Ryan to come to the chapel. Leo
rushed in and pulled Ryan out of the room before he revealed the truth. Laura told Bianca that Leo didn't want them to live
on the yacht but Leo changed the subject. After Leo stepped away, Laura told Bianca about Ryan's visit. A stunned Laura
suddenly realized that she had Gillian's heart.
In the Wildwind chapel, Anna continued to blame herself for
Gillian's death. Gabriel told her it wasn't her fault and reiterated that Charlotte wanted them all dead. Anna
reached out to her brother and told him that she wanted him to have a normal life. Gabriel said that he wasn't normal, he
was an animal. He then went onto tell Anna how Charlotte kept him in a cage. Upon hearing guests arrive for the
memorial service, Anna rushed out. Gillian's loved ones arrived for the service. Opal commented to Myrtle about the
breeze she felt on her neck. Hayley, Mateo, and Rosa arrived and asked Dimitri where Ryan was. Dimitri explained
how Ryan wasn't ready to let go. Mateo spotted Gabriel and asked what he was doing there. Dimitri revealed that Gabriel
was Alex's brother. Mateo briefed him on the incident at the boathouse and Dimitri told him that Gabriel was a troubled
boy. Rosa walked out of the chapel and Gabriel followed her. Later, Ryan arrived at the memorial service and placed a
gardenia on Gillian's casket. After feeling a breeze, Ryan turned and saw Gillian standing at the back of the chapel.
