Maddie tells Maria about the Crystal Ball. Maria
refuses to allow Edmund to cancel the Crystal Ball this year. Maria vows that
she will never forgive David for taking her life away. David arrives at Wildwind
and claims to Edmund and Maria that he might be able to restore Maria's memory.

December 3, 2002-
Edmund and Maria are shocked by
David's claim that he might be able to restore Maria's memory in exchange for
her not helping Jack prosecute him. Maria throws David out, vowing to make him
pay for his crimes. Edmund suggests that Maria ask herself if punishing David is
worth never regaining her memory. Anna is stunned when Jack confesses that he
has developed feelings for her. Anna tells David that they are going to have a
daughter.

December 6, 2002-
Edmund asks David for concrete proof that he can restore Maria's memory.
David gives Edmund some of his research to have checked out. Edmund assures
David he will pay whatever it costs to get Maria's memory back while warning
David not to tell Maria about their deal. Aidan is furious when she tells him of
David's offer and voices her fear that David will never pay for what he did to
her. Aidan later knocks David unconscious and threatens to drug him. Maria fears
that Aidan went after David on her behalf.
- Monday,
December 9, 2002-
Aidan threatens to inject David with the memory-erasing drug X-17. Maria
arrives and threatens to inject David herself as she vows to make David pay for
what he did to her. Maria can't bring herself to drug David and tells Aidan to
untie him. Maria takes the vial of X-17. David threatens to shoot Aidan unless
Maria returns the vial.
- Tuesday,
December 10, 2002-
Maria challenges David to make good on his threat to shoot Aidan. Maria
returns the vial of X-17 to David, who tries to convince her that he will figure
out a way to restore her memory. Maria questions Aidan's motives for going after
David. Aidan admits to Maria that he wants to be in her life and also says he
wanted to protect her. David orders Kenny to make a deal to resolve the minor
civil charges he still faces in order to put them behind him once and for all.
Kenny arranges for David to receive a suspended jail sentence while doing five
hundred hours of community service at the free clinic.

December 11, 2002-
While shopping for maternity clothes, Anna prevents a pickpocket from
stealing Maggie's wallet. Anna is reinstated as Chief of Police after learning
that David made a deal with Jack in order to pave the way for her to get her job
back. Anna is grateful for what David did and they grow passionate.

December 12, 2002-
Maria implores Aidan not to try and go after David again. Maria admits that
she cares about Aidan and says she has no intention of telling Edmund what
happened at the cabin. Meanwhile, David warns Edmund to keep Maria and Aidan
away from him. Edmund is shocked to learn that Maria and Aidan almost injected
David with X-17. Edmund fears Maria is spinning out of control. Edmund later
covers his hurt when he finds Aidan in Maria's room. Maria insists to Edmund
that there is no way she will consider David's offer to try and restore her
memory. Edmund admits that he wants the old Maria back. Edmund tells David to
speed along his research.

December 13, 2002-
Edmund agrees to Maddie's request to take her and Sam to see Maria to invite
her to spend Christmas with them. Maria is touched by Sam and Maddie's gifts of
homemade ornaments and a tiny tree. Sam and Maddie voice their dislike of Aidan
when they see his name on Maria's Christmas list. David doesn't tell Anna about
his ordeal with Maria and Aidan. David goes to confront Aidan after Anna
announces she's inviting him to spend Christmas with them. Before Aidan leaves,
David warns Aidan not to tell Anna what transpired between them at the cabin.
Later, David encounters Edmund at the Valley Inn and blatantly lies when he
tells Edmund he hasn't seen Aidan. Edmund comments on David's disheveled
appearance.
- Monday,
December 16, 2002-
Maria panics when she realizes Aidan has been shot. Aidan insists that Maria
not call an ambulance while telling her that someone wants him dead. A near dead
Aidan instructs Maria to steal medical supplies from the hospital. After getting
rid of an inquisitive Opal, Maria retrieves the supplies and returns to the Pine
Cone. Maria urges Aidan to fight for his life. David begins his community
service at the free clinic. Lenore, David's supervisor, makes it clear she won't
put up with David's superior attitude. Maggie arrives at the clinic to keep an
eye on David. David jumps into action to save the life of a man suffering a
heart attack. Maggie is proud of David. Edmund admits to Maria that he is afraid
the old Maria will never return. Edmund supports Mateo's decision to move to Los
Angeles with Hayley.

December 17, 2002-
Maria is relieved when Aidan regains consciousness. Aidan evades Maria's
questions when she wants to know who shot him.
- Wednesday,
December 18, 2002-
Aidan makes plans to flee to Canada. Maria panics when she encounters Edmund
outside her door. Maria fears Edmund will discover Aidan but the room is empty
when they enter. Maria realizes Aidan took off and races out to find him.
Someone grabs Maria as she prepares to drive off.

December 19, 2002-
Maria is shocked to find Aidan in her car. Maria panics when Aidan loses
consciousness. Later, Maria arrives at Wildwind and tells Edmund she is taking
him up on his offer to spend the holiday there. Maria covers her anxiety and
later sneaks away to the stables where she has secretly taken Aidan. David and
Greenlee support each other as they remember Leo. Greenlee recalls Leo giving
her a Christmas ornament and is devastated that it broke. Anna becomes curious
when she can't find Aidan. Kendall assures Anna that Aidan can take care of
himself and tells Anna a little bit about her past relationship with Aidan. Anna
returns to the cabin and discovers the bullet hole in the wall.

December 20, 2002-
Aidan is surprised to realize that Maria has taken him to the Wildwind
stables. Aidan still refuses to answer Maria's questions about the shooting.
Edmund is questioned by an FBI agent. David tells a questioning Anna the truth
about his encounter with Aidan, including firing a shot at him. Anna is stunned
when Chris informs her that an arrest warrant has been issued for Aidan in
England, where he is wanted for murder.

December 23, 2002-
Julia is overwhelmed to be reunited with Maria. Julia helps Maria and covers
Aidan's presence in the hayloft in front of Edmund. Julia explains to Maria that
she and Noah are still in the Witness Protection Program and that Mateo arranged
for her visit.

December 24, 2002-
David and Trey are concerned for Greenlee as she tries to force herself to
exhibit holiday cheer. Trey comforts Greenlee when she finally breaks down over
losing Leo. Greenlee later finds renewed strength and toasts Leo's memory. Maria
prevents Sam and Maddie from finding Aidan as Julia helps Maria keep the truth
from Edmund. Maria and Julia share a close bond. Maria admits to Julia that she
is conflicted about her feelings for Aidan.

December 26, 2002-
A delirious Aidan pulls Maria
into a kiss when he thinks she is a woman from his past named Fiona. Anna
arrives at Wildwind to question Maria about Aidan. Anna comes to believe that
Maria is hiding something and later goes to the stables and begins to climb the
ladder leading to the hayloft. Edmund becomes angry over Maria's defense of
Aidan and suggests it is time for her to leave Wildwind.

December 27, 2002-
Maria suddenly kisses Edmund, who apologizes and tells her she can stay at
Wildwind for as long as she wants. A wave of nausea prevents Anna from climbing
the ladder to the hayloft and finding Aidan. Maria is shocked when Anna tells
her that Aidan is wanted for murder in England for killing a woman named Fiona.

December 30, 2002-
In a cheesy episode called "What Women Want," Maggie reveals her
secret dream is to be a karate-kicking crime fighter like Anna.
- Tuesday,
December 31, 2002-
Maria is shocked to find Aidan in her room at Wildwind. Maria threatens to call
the police unless Aidan tells her the full story of Fiona's murder. Aidan agrees
and remembers returning to Fiona after making love with her and finding her shot
to death with the message "you're next" left for him. Maria hides
Aidan when Edmund arrives. Maria accepts Edmund's dinner invitation for New
Year's Eve. Later, Edmund surprises Maria with a romantic dinner in the stables
as a hidden Aidan is forced to witness their growing closeness.
