- Tuesday, October 1, 2002-
A hospitalized Anna refuses to see David. David seethes over Jack and Anna's
closeness, but learns that the evidence against him is in Anna's office.
- Wednesday,
October 2, 2002- Leo volunteers to steal the evidence against David from Anna's office and
insists that David go to Greenlee to give himself an alibi. Greenlee can't
believe what Leo has done. Hayley urges Brooke not to give up on Edmund. Aidan
and Maria grow closer as they find a common bond. Aidan kisses Maria.
- Thursday,
October 3, 2002- Edmund comes to Brooke's defense at BJ's. Edmund and Brooke encounter Maria
and Joe at BJ's. Joe rehires Maria at the hospital. Edmund is determined to find
a way to make Maria remember the love they shared. Maria relishes her newfound
independence as she tells Aidan she is moving into her own room at the Pine
Cone. Maria assures Aidan that she wants him in her life.
- Friday,
October 4, 2002- Jack prevents Anna from learning that Leo
stole the evidence against David from her office. David makes an impassioned
plea for Anna's forgiveness. Trey overhears Leo question Kendall about Trey's
guilt in starting the fire at Erica's house.
- Monday,
October 7, 2002- Anna catches David trying to steal the vial
of X-17 from her office. Anna has David arrested after he smashes the vial onto
the floor. Anna hopes the forensics team can salvage enough of the drug to
obtain an accurate analysis. Jack and Anna share a warm moment when she feels
the baby kick. David tells Leo how he destroyed the vial of X-17 and that he
feels confident Anna would never send him to prison.
- Tuesday,
October 8, 2002- Tad is shocked to find Brooke and Edmund
working together and urges Brooke to stop punishing herself. Although not
completely forgiving, Edmund tells Brooke he appreciates her help. Mateo isn't
pleased when Aidan points out that Maria will be the one who decides what will
make her happy. Hayley introduces herself to Maria at the hospital and puts
Maria at ease while explaining about Enzo's transplant. Mateo is hurt that Maria
feels closer to Aidan than her own family. Edmund, Isabella and Maddie find
Maria and Aidan locked in a kiss.
- Wednesday,
October 9, 2002- Isabella whisks Maddie away as Edmund
confronts Maria about kissing Aidan. Maria feels guilty over the pain she is
causing her family. Maria provokes Edmund into finally letting his true feelings
come out. Edmund pulls Maria into a passionate kiss, which Aidan witnesses.

October 10, 2002-
Leo implores Anna to give David another chance but she refuses. Tad and
Jamie wish Brooke would start to see Edmund in a different light. David seethes
when he sees Anna and Jack having dinner together. Trey later surprises Kendall
by giving Leo the list of his misdeeds. Maria is moved by Edmund's kiss. Edmund
and Maria manage to make a connection. Maria tells Aidan she has to try to
remember her past.
- Friday,
October 11, 2002-
David confronts Jack and Anna and ends up punching Jack. Anna stops Jack
from retaliating. David vows that Jack will never be a part of Anna's life.
Vanessa covers her fury when Greenlee announces that she and Leo are moving to
Paris. Vanessa later forms a plan to escape with revenge in mind. Leo is furious
over Trey's crimes but later softens when he sees Trey's vulnerability. Kendall
tells Leo that she and Trey are brother and sister. Maria explains to Aidan she
can't have a future with him until she gets answers about her past. Edmund tells
Brooke he is going to use "Maureen" to help him make Maria's memory
return. Brooke agrees to help and later visits Maria.
- Monday,
October 14, 2002- Greenlee is overjoyed when Leo makes plans to leave for Paris with her that
night. Leo and Greenlee make love. After Leo is tricked into leaving, Greenlee
encounters a gun-wielding Vanessa. Maria is surprised to learn Brooke and Edmund
are getting their marriage annulled. Brooke tries to get answers about Maria's
memory loss. Maria suffers a panic attack over Brooke's questions. Brooke is
pained to see Edmund and Maria leave together.
- Tuesday,
October 15, 2002-
Vanessa forces Greenlee to get rid of Bianca, who arrives at the loft to say
goodbye to Leo before they leave for Paris. Vanessa kidnaps Greenlee and takes
her to the edge of a waterfall where she contacts Leo, ordering him to meet them
there. Leo turns to Trey for help.
- Wednesday,
October 16, 2002-
Leo arrives at the overlook to find Vanessa holding a gun on Greenlee.
Greenlee has a physical altercation with Vanessa. Anna informs David of
Vanessa's escape. Anna admits she came to David to make sure he was safe from
Vanessa and is shocked when he shows her the cradle he built for their child. David and Anna arrive at the base of the waterfall
park.
- Thursday,
October 17, 2002-
Afraid David would be killed by his gun-totting mama, Anna prevents a
distraught David from intervening. Leo and Vanessa fall over into the waterfall
and are presumed dead.
- Friday,
October 18, 2002-
Maria races into action to prevent Sam from choking while having breakfast
at Wildwind. Maria questions Edmund about her past. Maria admits she doesn't
want to disappoint Edmund if her memory doesn't return. At the hospital, Maria
has a brief flashback of seeing David burying something on the beach. Brooke
tells Tad she finds it odd that Maria remembers handing Maddie to her after the
plane crash, but remembers nothing else. Brooke wants to piece together a
timetable of Maria's memory loss to determine if David may have played a part in
it.
- Monday,
October 21, 2002-
Anna's heart goes out to David. Anna promises
David that their child will always be loved. Dr. Reid advises Maria to let her
memory return slowly rather than try to force it to come back to her all at
once. Edmund overhears and asks Maria on a date, which she accepts. Maria breaks
her plans with Aidan. Maria thanks Aidan for being her anchor.

October 22, 2002-
A torn Anna orders more tests when the results on the drug David crushed
into her carpet come back inconclusive.

October 23, 2002-
With Mateo's help, Edmund recreates his and Maria's first date. Maria enjoys
her evening with Edmund, who remains hopeful her memory will return.

October 30, 2002-
Jack tells Anna that the latest tests on David's
experimental drug found in her carpet came back inconclusive. Anna admits she is
slightly relieved as Jack warns her not to think that David is a changed man.
After complimenting her, Jack challenges Anna to explain what she sees in David.
Anna is caught off-guard but swears she will not drop the case against David.
David receives a letter Vanessa arranged to have delivered to him in the event
of her death. Greenlee convinces David to burn the letter without reading it in
order to put Vanessa behind them once and for all. Anna arrives at the cabin in
the hope of getting a confession out of David. Greenlee berates Anna for turning
on David in his time of need. Greenlee tells Anna to simply love David. David
makes an impassioned plea for Anna's forgiveness. Maria is hit with a memory of
David while on an outing with Edmund, Sam and Maddie. Maria is determined to
make sense of her recalled memory and she and Edmund go to see Zeke. Zeke places
Maria under hypnosis and she remembers feeling safe with David.

October 31, 2002-
After being hypnotized, Maria is shaken by her
memories of a loving and supportive David. Edmund is privately hurt when Maria
asks for some time alone. Maria refuses to discuss her memories of David with
Zeke. Anna questions David's motives for loving her. David insists that Anna
made him a better person. David meets with a questioning Maria and admits that
he did love her. David assures Maria that they were never lovers. David explains
to Maria that he sent her to Nevada to save her from him and says he was a
different man when Maria first met him. Edmund erupts in a rage when he sees
David embracing Maria. After her encounter with David, Anna tells Jack she is
resigning as Chief of Police.
