Guy du Pres invites Greenlee and Leo to witness the opening of the returned DNA
tests, and Wolfe lurks in the shadows as Guy reads the results. Ryan presses
Kendall to dump Trey, and Kendall finds herself in a jam when Aidan arrives upon
the scene to pose a question. Anna opens up to David and grows suspicious
of Guy.

Trey sets the stage for Kendall's arrest, but Aidan puts a wrench in Trey's
plans.

Edmund's spirits darken when he learns that
Brooke's absence corresponds with Tad's sudden departure.

July 4, 2002- Peace hovers between
the lines as Anna and Jackson exchange barbs, and Jackson reconnects with an old
flame.
- Friday, July 5, 2002-
Protective Leo causes a commotion when his defense of Greenlee turns to
violence, and the incident's outcome forces him to make a call to David.
- Monday,
July 8, 2002- David informs Leo that he may have to alter his wedding plans after
examining Roger, and Leo shocks Simone when he covers for her to Greenlee after
a spat. Anna alerts David to her suspicions about Guy, and Anna keeps close tabs
on Leo's father.
- Tuesday, July 9, 2002-
Vanessa manages to trick her nurse and to hatch an escape scenario, but
both Anna and Wolfe put a wrench in Vanessa's plans.
- Wednesday, July 10, 2002-
Leo rushes off to confront Vanessa
about Guy, and Leo shares his newfound concerns with David.
- Thursday, July 11, 2002-
As wedding bells threaten to sound, Leo and David bond as Greenlee shares
her fears about Vanessa with Anna. Anna's own suspicions grow after meeting
Doctor Klaus Wagner, otherwise known as Wolfe, and Anna acquires an important
piece of information from Vanessa before getting tied up. Opal spooks
Greenlee and confesses to Bianca that she had a disturbing vision about Anna,
and Greenlee pleads with Leo to call off their wedding as a result.
- Friday, July 12, 2002-
Anna recovers from
her attack, and jumps into action after recalling that Vanessa warned Anna
of Wolfe's intentions.
- Monday, July 15, 2002-
Brooke and Tad search for Maureen to confirm that she is not in fact
"Maria", and Brooke spins a tall tale when a hotel clerk finds the two
snooping behind his counter as "Maria" watches from the shadows. Edmund checks on
Simone in the aftermath of the shooting, and Simone ends up shocking Edmund by
spilling the truth about Brooke and Tad.
Anna and David witness Greenlee and Leo's impromptu wedding ceremony, and Anna
and David relay bad news to the newlyweds. Later, Jackson finds Anna and makes
an abrupt request.
- Tuesday, July 16, 2002-
Edmund refuses to believe Simone and sets out to prove her wrong. Brooke faints
after she thinks she sees Maria, and Edmund confronts Brooke when he finds
Brooke in Tad's arms.
Jackson presses Anna to turn in her badge, but David arrives to defend Anna.
- Wednesday, July 17, 2002-
Tad offers to tell Edmund the truth for Brooke, but
Edmund catches Tad off guard in the process of Tad's explanation. Afterward,
fear grows in Brooke's heart when Edmund appears uncertain whether he can get
past the misunderstandings, and Brooke strives to take comfort in the fact that
Maria is dead. David does his best to reassure Anna, but Anna doubts her own
motives for shooting Wolfe.
- Monday, July 22, 2002-
Jackson forces Anna to relinquish her weapon, and Jackson questions Anna about
her motive for letting Wolfe's accomplice escape. David also surprises Anna by
proffering divorce papers as a possible solution to her problems.
- Tuesday, July
23, 2002- David explains the benefits of divorce to Anna.
- Wednesday, July
24, 2002- Jackson pulls Anna away from the Roger's funeral to discuss police business,
and Anna holds Leo for questioning as a result. Tad
suggests that Brooke tell Edmund the truth after Edmund presses Brooke to trust
him.
- Thursday, July
25, 2002- Greenlee
bonds with David over her loss, while Anna probes Leo about Vanessa. Jackson
throws Anna another curveball, and Anna retaliates by helping David to arrange a
perfect surprise for Greenlee and Leo.
- Friday, July
26, 2002- Brooke startles Hayley with her reaction to
Maddie's innocent comment. Hayley speculates when Brooke shares shocking news
about Maria. Mateo questions Edmund's motives for marrying Brooke so close to
the date of Maria's death and Edmund blindsides Mateo with a suggestion.
- Monday, July
29, 2002- Edmund confronts Tad about Brooke's whereabouts,
and Edmund remains unconvinced of Brooke's forthrightness when she calls to
reassure him. "Maria" appears unable to remember Brooke or anything
about Pine Valley, and the intrigue escalates when "Maria" makes a
call to David in Pine Valley.
- Tuesday, July
30, 2002- David's grows wary when Edmund arrives to talk to
Anna about a situation in Nevada. "Maria" continues to haunt Brooke.
- Wednesday, July
31, 2002- Brooke reconnects with her inner strength and
determines to protect her future, while "Maria" plays tricks on Tad.
Brooke piques Edmund's curiosity when he learns that she has returned to Nevada
with Tad. Meanwhile, David's concerns grow, as Edmund appears closer to
discovering "Maria," and David cautions Edmund against involving
himself in Brooke's work.
