Two Loves (Feb. 15, 2000)
Edmund can't get over Alex's taking down the gunman in the mall and is curious how she was able to do it (and yet say she doesn't remember how she could do it).

Alexandra: "Oh, you have to think about this, Edmund. What if something were to happen to you because of me?"
Edmund: "I'm involved, okay? I'm not going back. I'm not changing my mind."
Alexandra: "Something in my history has made me act violently. And I would never forgive myself if..."
Edmund: "You won't. You won't. We are so close to getting the truth. Now, don't stop now."
Alexandra: "This is awful."
Edmund: "I know it is. But we're real close. Now, promise me... it's going to be over soon. Promise me you're not going to move out of this place."
Alexandra: "You're so bloody stubborn, aren't you?"

There's a knock on door.  Edmund: "You expecting somebody?"
Eugenia: "Oh." 
Edmund: "Eugenia, come on in. Are you all right?"
Eugenia: "Oh, dear, I'm so sorry to interrupt, but the phone.. I couldn't get through."
Alexandra: "Oh. I unplugged it. I didn't want to be disturbed. Sorry."
Eugenia: "That's all right. "
Edmund: "What's happened?" 
Eugenia: "I went to check on Gillian, sure that she was sleeping, and I heard voices in her room."
Edmund: "Well, maybe that's just, you know, Jake, wanted to see her before the wedding."
Eugenia: "My darling, I sent Jake away hours ago. "
Edmund: "Well, maybe he snuck back in." 
Eugenia: "My dear, it is Ryan. We've got to do something."
Edmund: "Are you sure?"
Eugenia: "Yes, of course I'm sure. I know his voice. I'm sure that he's weaving some sort of fantasy just to confuse Gillian. Please come with me. We've got to stop him."
Edmund: "Will you excuse us?"
Alexandra: "Yeah, of course. Go." 
Edmund: "Okay. Come on." 

Later, Edmund returns.
Alexandra: "Oh, hi."
Edmund: "Hi. Um.. did I wake you?"
Alexandra: "No, I'm never sleeping again in my entire life. Come on in, please. How's Gillian?"
Edmund: "She's confused." 
Alexandra: "Yeah, sure. Sit down."
Edmund: "Thanks."
Alexandra: "What happened?"
Edmund: "Well, you know, Ryan was there."
Alexandra: "Mm-hmm."
Edmund: "And he was trying to convince her that he still loved her and that she shouldn't marry Jake."
Alexandra: "Oh, you're kidding."
Edmund: "Yeah, I had to practically drag him out of the house."
Alexandra: "Do you think she does still love Ryan?"
Edmund: "When they were together, you could just about feel the heat. I don't even know why they broke up. But I guess they had their share of troubles."
Alexandra: "Jake's such a lovely guy, though."
Edmund: "He is. There's a warmth and a tenderness there. And she seems happy with him."
Alexandra: "Question is, who does she truly love?" 
Edmund: "Think it's possible to have two great loves in your life?"
