Blame It on the Wine
After a night of drinking, Duke's horrified to wake up naked in bed with Olivia, who's
all aglow. He apologizes, telling her it only happened because he got drunk, but Olivia's
happy and lies that she'll keep quiet about the encounter. She tells herself,
"Maybe I was a substitute for Anna last night, but it won't always be that way.
You'll love me, Duke."
Barely on speaking terms, both Anna
and Robert arrive to visit Robin at summer camp and discover she's got poison
ivy. Anna tries to avoid Robert as much as possible because he's certain that
Duke's back in the mob (which he is) and Anna refuses to admit it, but she does
tell him that she and Duke have separated. His frequent absences at home in Port
Charles is her excuse.
Afterwards, Anna goes to Duke's club
in New York and refuses his embrace or kiss. She wants a legal separation states
an anguished Anna, explaining to an astonished Duke that "I believe you
really are honoring Julian's intentions. And, I believe you'll try to get out
when it's all over- if it ever is. But it's all too much to take, having to live
with lies and send Robin away to protect her." A hurt Duke agrees,
lamenting "So, this is where loving you gets me. It's all for
nothing." He fails to mention his one night stand with Olivia, who's
lurking about the club.
Mystery Box
Sean and Collette work together on Frisco's death and agree that he must have gotten
hold of something the terrorists really wanted. Meanwhile, Felicia receives a small box
which Bobbie and Terri put aside, and forget to give to her. She's determined to go to
Quebec to finally get the details on Frisco's death, though Colton's worried after getting
a note saying to stop digging into Frisco's death "or else the young will get
hurt." Though Collette's met Felicia and Prunella, Sean's insists she hide in his
secret room whenever Tiffany shows up, causing Tiffany to be suspicious that Sean's
cheating on her. Collette's just annoyed.

Felicia finally gets her package, and
tearfully listens while the music box plays "Lady of My Heart. No return address is
on the box, but the note inside reads "My love is in the box. Happy Anniversary.
Frisco." Colton leaves, but not before pointing out that the postmark reads
Washington D.C. one year ago, probably sent ahead by the WSB. Later, Felicia falls down
the stairs after rushing back to retrieve the box when a fire breaks out in the
brownstone.
Camp Nowhere
Though Robert and Cheryl are growing closer, they agree to wait on getting into a more
serious relationship before having sex. Cheryl's jumping with Olivia's upcoming visit
after a mob-obsessed Robert constantly states he's glad that she's not involved with
"the smarmy underside of the world."
Olivia uses Duke's distraction with Anna,
paying Butcher to trash his Port Charles club so that she can offer to decorate it, thus
insinuating herself more into his life. At the public library, Anna's research confirms
Duke's story for rejoining the mob. She urges Duke to document all his activities to
protect himself, though she doubts he'll ever be able to extracate himself from the mob.
At another visit to summer camp, this time
with Cheryl, Robert takes part in the girls activities, having to swim after his boat
sinks. Robin takes to Cheryl, showing her Robin's secret hiding place in the forest. On
their return from camp, their car runs out of gas and Robert and Cheryl spend the night
under the stars, sharing the only sleeping bag.
Cheryl's Connected to Scott
Checking out Scotty's background, Robert's thrown when he finds out
that Cheryl worked with Scotty on a company called Medi-Serv, which collapsed under
questionable circumstances and pending lawsuits. A guilt-ridden Cheryl confesses all
to Robert before he can even bring up the subject, and he responds by giving her a
reassuring kiss on the cheek before leaving.
Mad at the Mob
Duke's finally able to reopen his club, but the club's success is
destroyed when it's flooded with water. A pleased Olivia pays off her thug,
Butcher. After the trashing of her office and club's flood, Anna's ticked and
decides it's time to nail the mob. She tells a happy Duke they can call off their
separation and spend time together, so as to appear like she's accepted being the wife of
a mobster. They'll spend more time in NY and Fran has also agreed to help the
Laverys.
Unable to lie to Anna any longer, Duke confesses that Olivia's obsessed
with him. He then tells a hurt Anna about his one night stand with Olivia.
However, she wearily tells him, "You got drunk and wound up
in bed with Olivia.
Your explanation was candid. No, nothing's changed between us." Checking out
their apartment above the NY club, Anna drills a hole in the floor of the closet that's
directly above Duke's office, and sets up surveillance equipment. She then dresses
up like a bag lady to spy on a mob exchange that goes awry. A dock worker, driving
his loaded forklift, almost traps and crushes her, but she manages to escape without
blowing her cover.
Meanwhile back in PC, Butcher
continues to pressure Olivia and Scotty for more hush money, so both take guns and pay a
visit him at his motel. By the time Robert and Lewis find Butcher, he's been
murdered. Lucy secretly photographed both Scotty and Olivia's visits, but is unaware
that Butcher's been killed.
