Frisco seeks to protect friends from a killer.
The Annoying O'Connors
Bobbie Spenser's stepdaughter Terri is cracking up but no one knows why. The arrival of Jennifer Talbot, Terry's grandmother, prevents Bobbie and Jake from going back to Laurelton to question the natives about Terry. Not that the Meyers would have been able to get anything as Jennifer's bullied the townspeople into silence. Talbot agrees to Bobbie's invitation to stay at the Brownstone and has a negative effect on the residents. Patrick vows to move out rather than live in the same house, mysteriously saying she's already cost him a year of his life. Terry abruptly makes up with her grandmother just as Jennifer is about to tell Bobbie about Terry's naughty night in Laurelton. Bobbie doesn't buy either of their acts and her curiosity is peaked when Terry bursts into tears as Jennifer tells her all is forgiven.

When Talbot sees the hymnal that has been giving Terry the heeie-jeebies, she remembers the date inside- it's the same day on which Terry got herself in trouble. When Patrick refuses to join them, Bobbie figures out he must have been with Terry on that night. At the hospital, Patrick starts acting odd, refusing to care for a patient recovering from rape who think's he's trying to harm her. Having been accused of rape by one hysterical woman is enough for him.

Busted
After confronting Sean about the digitalis pill she found, Sean convinces her to keep quiet, explaining he took the pills to stay out of jail. Donely's fear of being confined in a small space is pretty well know. He thanks her by later pulling her into a steamy kiss in the linen closet, under some mistletoe he's hung up. However, Rick Webber deduces that Sean stole the pills and proves it with a blood test. Monica convinces Rick to keep quiet for 24 hours because Sean's likely to get a full pardon by the govenor then, which the lucky Irishman gets. Alan, who's estranged from his wife, suggests getting back together, but Monica refutes his request that she spy on Sean. She calls Donely after receiving a bouquet from a "grateful patient," and the two end up having dinner together. They kiss on the snowy balcony, but Sean warns her to think about where she wants to go from here. "We're at the point of no return. Think about how you want me to proceed before you kiss me again." Caught sneaking back into the mansion, Monica lies that she was with Sean to spy for the Qs. The greedy lot are thrilled.

friscosam.jpg (5572 bytes)At the police academy, Frisco's sneaky partner, Eric, tries to set up Frisco by rigging his knife, but Lewis proves that Eric's the culprit by dusting for prints. "I was just trying to show frisco's not so hot," Eric whines. Lewis and Frisco call a truce, and Jones is soon scalped by the academy barber. Frisco's new partner, Sam, ends up injuring Bert after her judo demonstation with Frisco sends Jones reeling into Burt, who then ends up in traction. Christmas morning proves to be a better day for the Joneses, as Frisco gives Felica a sexy nightie and she gives him a shockproof watch.

Whose's Body Is It?
At the brownstone, Terry's horrified when she stumbles upon an unidentified body. She's been having a rough time sleepwalking, and the knife found in the body turns out to be one Terry had during one of her sleepwalks. Her grandmother, the wealthy Jennifer Talbot, sticks her nose up at the situation, telling the cops that a lady wouldn't be involved in such things. Anna's immediately suspicious of Talbot, while Jake insists that Bobbie tell Anna about the incident with Terry and the knife. Bobbie's sure that the murder has something to do with Laurelton. Felicia and Frisco decide to play detective, but Felicia gets caught eavesdropping on Ted Holmes and Talbot, looking like an idiot with the excuse that she's looking for her earrings (when she's still got both on). When Talbot tries to throw her weight around and leave with Terry, Anna puts a stop to it, telling Talbot that if she leaves the brownstone then Anna will have her thrown into jail.  So all parties remain at the brownstone.

Bert figures out the victim is an engineer named Neil Johnson. Anna questions the brownstone gang, where Patrick and Kevin inform her that Johnson was a long lost cousin of theirs. Talbot's whining quickly comes to a halt after Anna and Bert inform her that a glass eye was found in Johnson's pocket. Jennifer responds by fainting. Anna eventually figures out the eye belonged to Earl Moody, another Laureltoner, who disappeared on the night of the '83 Valentine's dance, which incidently Terry and gang attended.  With Buzz standing by, a frustrated Anna tries to get some answers out of Terry, who's in the hospital for hypoglycemia, but Kevin interrupts when Terry starts getting worse. Terry blames Patrick for telling Anna about the dance.

Since the O'Connors refuse to help, Anna's unable to provide any answers to the antsy mayor, who's threatening to take her off the case because of the media circus involved with the case. She plans to go toLaurelton to investigate, but Bobbie beats her there. Jake's forced to admit to Anna about Bobbie's whereabouts. Bobbie's eavesdropping on the graverobbers is halted when she slips on a rock, alerting them that someone's nearby.
